Magnesium deficiency (Mg)

The symptoms of magnesium deficiency in citrus fruit will first show on older leaves. While most of the leaf will turn yellow, a characteristically V-shaped area will be left green, with the V’s vertex pointing towards the leaf tip.

In order to remedy a lack of magnesium in citrus fruit it is advisable to apply sulfur in an easily absorbed sulfatic form, such as EPSO Top®. EPSO Top® may be used either as a foliar fertiliser, or may be applied as a nutrient solution via irrigation system.
